Mark Kirby, Founder of VenueBot

Built by people who understand hospitality, sales and technology

VenueBot was founded by Mark Kirby, who grew up in a wedding venue and spent 20 years running contact centres, with multiple wins at the Contact Center World Awards. He was also early to commercial AI, launching Cart Assist in 2014, well before the current wave. Across that time he watched customer behaviour shift from phone and email to web, social and messaging, and built engagement programmes that kept up.

His passion is engagement: working out how people actually want to communicate, then shaping journeys that fit. As Founder of VenueBot and GoEngage, Mark now helps owner-run UK wedding venues stop engaging like it is 2014 and start meeting modern couples where they really are, at every touchpoint from enquiry to "I do."
